Our Staff Human Resources Coordinators provide support and act as a resource in: the staff recruitment process, payroll, job descriptions; staff appointments and interpret and utilize the DSB Collective Agreement and PMA policies.

Established in 2001, The Education Foundation (EF) is a registered charitable organization affiliated with the District School Board. EF exists to build partnerships with the community that enhance opportunities in our schools and enrich public education. Funding for the Foundation comes from local businesses, grants, community organizations and concerned citizens who wish to support our District's tradition of excellence.

To provide enhanced learning opportunities for Thames Valley students by fostering support from all sectors of society.

Our Beliefs

We believe that public education is a collective responsibility of the entire community. We all have
a stake in building successful schools. We believe that community support and cooperation are key foundations on which an exemplary public education system can be built. We believe donations to the Thames Valley Education Foundation help our students prepare for the challenges of tomorrow.

Why a Foundation?

The Foundation's focus is to support programs that address the following needs:

  • initiatives to support parent and community involvement and participation in the education process;
  • promotion of safe schools;
  • citizenship and leadership development for all students;
  • enhanced learning opportunities for students, particularly in the arts, health and fitness activities, environmental programs;
  • intervention activities in response to child poverty, in collaboration with community partners;
  • recognition of excellence in learning and teaching (includes scholarships and bursaries).
