PTSA

Thank you for your leadership in the 2019-2020 National PTA Reflections program! Please remember to implement the program based upon the requirements of your State PTA.
Your PTA should provide you with the specific forms, deadlines and guidelines necessary for hosting a Reflections program. PTA’s Reflections program has helped students explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful in school and in life. Each year, over 300,000 students in Pre-K through Grade 12 create original works of art in response to a student-selected theme. The theme for the 2019-2020 program year is Look Within. Students submit their completed works of art in one or all of the available arts categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, Visual Arts.
Leader's Guide
The Local Leader's Guide (Spanish) provides an overview of the steps necessary to host a program at your school. You'll also find helpful tools to recruit and train volunteers as well as plan educational activities and family celebrations.
Family Reading Experience
It doesn't have to be National Reading Month to host a PTA Family Reading Experience. Check out our NEW, interactive approach that engages the whole family in reading activities!
Parents take part in the fun with their kids and leave the event with a deeper understanding of the simple ways they can support literacy. National PTA has partnered with Reading Is Fundamental (RIF) to provide literacy expertise and activities to host an engaging and effective Family Reading Experience.
